NEWS BITE: Columbus City Schools Hires First-Ever Chief Equity Officer for $163,034 per Year

The Columbus City Schools in Ohio hired Dionne Blue as its first-ever Chief Equity Officer in June 2020.

Blue’s gross pay in FY 2021-22 was $163,034, making her the seventh-highest paid employee in the district with 9,880 plus employees.

Superintendent Talisa Dixon made $283,613 as the district’s highest paid employee in FY 2021-22.

In 2021-22, a first-year teacher at Columbus City Schools with a bachelor’s degree had a base pay of $45,600.
